What is Academy Learner?
Academy Learner (AL) is an interactive education platform and program for students and educators that can be utilised inside and outside of the classroom. AL specialises in teaching resources for school-based Sport Academies, Physical Education electives and Sport Science programs. Designed to make learning more engaging for students whilst providing curriculum and activities with academic rigour for teachers, Academy Learner is changing the face of education, student engagement and outcomes.

Why Academy Learner?
We believe in better student engagement through exciting and relevant lesson content, activities and assessment.
Academy Learner has specialised curriculum for Sports Academy classes, Health and Physical Education and Health and Physical Education electives. The content and activities delivered by Academy Learner help students to develop key transferrable skills and knowledge used across multiple curriculum domains, whilst improving overall literacy, numeracy, investigation and critical thinking skills.

Units are well balanced with both teacher and student directed learning, and implement a gradual release of responsibility model, promoting student confidence and independence. Every lesson has explicit Learning Intentions and Success Criteria, providing students with clear learning objectives and understanding goals. The lessons are interactive and diverse, with student notes, diagrams, videos and online activities.
Engaging Units
Academy Learner units are designed to spark interest, promote engagement and increase relevancy. Each unit explores different areas within the sporting industry, and integrates with the Australian Curriculum.
Academy Learner students are provided with meaningful and practical learning activities, while teachers are provided with comprehensive and useful resources.
Each unit can be tailored to student needs, allowing teachers to easily differentiate the set curriculum. With self-paced learning opportunities, formative and summative assessment tasks, individual and group activities and self-evaluation tools, Academy Learner caters for all.
